The TEE-ON is designed in Paris and made out of a new revolutionary organic fibre: modal, produced from a fibre extracted from beech trees and wood cellulose. It is a raw material in the making, renewable and biodegradable. It requires less water to grow and comes from sustainable forestry. Modal is much more breathable and fluid, always remains touch dry and absorbs moisture twice as quickly as any other fabric. Soft, smooth, shiny, shrink resistant thanks to its natural fibre, modal keeps its shape and creases four times less quickly than classic organic cotton. Our TEE-ONs tend to pill and discolour less, even after several washes because we want you to enjoy the experience sans ISSUE.

Our representation of health is largely influenced by different ways of thinking. For instance, according to Michel Foucault, health is not only about biology but also about economics, culture and politics. Within our neoliberal system, health could be defined as performance and skills development. In this context, anything that would limit this would be pathological. This health capital is therefore a burden that must be paid in order to be as integrated as possible into the society and to participate in it in a profitable way. To what extent are we responsible for our own health assets? What is the general symptom caused by the multiplication of physical and intellectual efforts to short and long term? Whether it is due to overwork, stress, constant connection, to transport or to our own uncertain and continuing questioning of ourselves and the place where we belong in this world, the main manifestation of these phenomena is fatigue. It can be physical or even, alas, too often, psychological. This fatigue, which is almost inseparable from the urban lifestyle, can lead to much more serious physio-psychological disorders such as chronic exhaustion, burnout or depression. If our society forces us to manage this capital as well as possible, it is because it provides us with the remedies. Solutions that are easily accessible without the need for a prescription or improperly delivered. These antidotes are now firmly established in our lives and fill the shelves of our personal pharmacies. We are therefore witnessing a society that embraces both the role of the virus and the vaccine. However, this constant use of drugs and self-medication cannot be done without excesses. Indeed, nowadays, there is an over-consumption of these products. In 2012, the global drug market was estimated at $856 billion (compared to less than $200 billion in 1990) or more than $27,143 per second. Today, drugs have become products of ordinary consumption while remaining paradoxically taboo. We buy and consume a product governed by codes, cryptograms and designs well anchored in the collective imaginary. That is how the idea of 𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘴 ISSUE originated. In order to question this phenomenon in a provocative way, we use the TEE-ON as a support for clues carried by each wearer, in the hope of creating debate. These clues, originally drawn on the boxes and instructions for use of the most common drugs are then highlighted to a point at which they replace the piece of clothing itself. They ask us about their identities and incongruous presences beyond their usual function.
